Questions
How is my X Charm worked out?
People reply to accounts they like, so we measure your charm by how many people replied to your recent posts (at least your last 30), compared with a typical account your size. On X, the number of people who reply grows with about the square root of followers: 25 times the followers brings about 5 times the people. So we divide by the square root of your followers. A typical account scores 50, twice typical 65, four times typical 80, eight times typical 95, and nobody gets 100. The typical value comes from measuring 54 real accounts, from 21 to 6 million followers. Below the score you also see the share of your followers who replied, and the engagement rate of those posts: likes, replies, reposts, quotes and bookmarks divided by views. X Analytics shows a higher rate because it also counts clicks, which aren’t public.
Why replies and not likes?
X keeps the list of who liked a post private. Replies are the public sign of who shows up.
Is it free? Do I need to log in?
Free, no login, no X permissions. It runs in your browser and saves nothing about you or the people in your replies.
It says the account is private or can’t be found.
Only public accounts work. Check the spelling of the handle, or try again in a minute if X data is slow.
How is my Hero Card worked out?
On xbanger.app/hero, from your profile and recent posts and replies. Your class comes from your X Personality type (16 types, e.g. Night Mage, Bard, Rogue). Six stats from 1 to 99: HP your followers, ATK average views a post, MAG engagement (likes, replies, reposts per view), DEF the people who reply to you, SPD posts and replies a day, LUCK how far your best post beat your usual one. All on log scales, so a small account that people love can outrank a big quiet one. Your level is the average of the six, and the rarity follows it: Common, Rare (55+), Epic (70+), Legendary (78+). The two skills are what stands out most about how you post. “Stronger than 78%” compares your level with every other card made here (each account counted once) and shows once 30 accounts have one.
How is my X Personality worked out?
On xbanger.app/type, from your recent posts and replies: Poster or Replier (40% or more posts), Day or Night (30% or more sent between 10pm and 5am, in your browser’s time zone), Long or Short (140 characters or more on average), Question or Tell (15% or more posts ask something). Four letters, 16 types. Your best match is the other side on Poster/Replier and Question/Tell.
What does Reply Crush count?
On xbanger.app/crush: the replies you sent to each person anywhere on X, against the replies they left under your recent posts, both from the same day. You chase someone when you replied at least twice and 3× more than they did; mutuals both replied at least twice. Replies only: X keeps likes private.
How is my X account’s worth worked out?
Just for fun, on xbanger.app/worth: $0.10 per follower, $3 per 1,000 views a year (projected from your last 30 posts: if they got 72K views in 5 days, that’s 4.9M a year at this pace, not your real past year) and $10 per person who replied to them, times your engagement (×0.5 to ×2.5). The prices are made up, but the same for everyone. The grade on the stamp is the worth per follower: A+ from $8, A from $4, B from $1.50, C from $0.50, else D. Smaller accounts that punch above their size can beat huge ones. “Worth more than 78% of accounts appraised” compares you with every other account appraised here (each counted once, at its latest value); it shows once 30 accounts have been appraised. It also shows what the account could make: four sponsored posts a month at $20 per 1,000 average views, times the same engagement multiplier. Opened from someone’s link (like xbanger.app/worth/heyclairelin)? Your poster puts you next to them: “vs @heyclairelin”.
How do I find my top fans on X (Twitter)?
Open xbanger.app/thanks (or switch to 💌 Thanks Card after your recap) and type your @handle. We read the public replies under your original posts (not reposts or replies) and rank everyone who showed up.
What time does each poster cover?
Recap is your day so far, from midnight in your own time zone: the posts you published today, with the views, likes and comments they have so far and the people who commented on them. If you haven’t posted yet today, it shows yesterday (midnight to midnight); if not yesterday either, your recent posts. Thanks Card uses your recent posts: at least your last 30, and more if they got few replies (up to 100 posts or 60 days), so the ranking isn't decided by two or three replies. Tap i next to the poster buttons to see exactly what was counted.
What is the Ghost Index?
It puts your follower count next to the number of people who replied to your recent posts: “If my 5.7K followers were 100 people, 11 talk to me.” The ghost index is how many of those 100 are ghosts (89/100 means 89 never replied). It’s a joke, not a verdict: X shows each post to only some of your followers, so most “ghosts” just never saw it. You get a title: 👻 Ghost Town (under 2% talk), 🌫️ Mostly Ghosts (2–5%), 🙂 Some Real Friends (5–10%), 🔥 Lively Crowd (10–20%) or 💛 True Fan Club (20% and up). On X even 5% is good. Only replies count, because X keeps likes private, and some of the people who reply may not follow you.
Can it show how many followers I gained today?
No. X doesn't share a follower history and we don't store anything, so the Recap shows your follower count today.
How is everyone ranked?
3 points for each of your posts someone replied under, 1 point for each extra reply, and 1 point for each reply you sent back to them. Same rules for every account, no secret sauce.
What do the titles on the Thanks Card mean?
Each of the 12 people on the card gets a title for how they show up for you. The person who shows up most is always Number One. Then Never Misses (on the most posts), Most Replies, Best Chats (you replied to them the most) and First Responder (often first to reply). Everyone else gets a general title, like Inner Circle, Loyal Legend or Front Row. Likes and follower counts never decide anything.
How do I post it on X with the poster?
On a phone: tap 𝕏 Post and pick X. The text is already filled in, and the poster is copied: tap and hold in the post, then Paste. You can also Save poster and attach it from your photos.
On a computer: 𝕏 Post opens X with the text filled in, and the poster is copied. Press Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac) or right-click → Paste in the post to add it.
Can I thank only small accounts, or only big ones?
Yes. Pick a follower range above the poster (100 or fewer, up to 100K+) and the card is redone with people in that range only.
