Four parts, 25 points each, all on log scales so a small account people love can beat a big quiet one. Reach: the post’s views against what an account with that many followers usually gets (bigger accounts reach a smaller share of their followers). Against the usual post: views against the middle of the account’s recent posts. Engagement: likes, bookmarks (count double), reposts and quotes (count triple: spreading a post counts most) and comments, per 100 views (1–3 is normal on X). Conversation: comments per 1,000 views, and how many of the people who answered got a reply from the author.

Views and replies keep coming for a day or more. Rate a post a few hours after posting, or check it again later.
