How Much Is My X (Twitter) Account Worth?

Follower count is the number everyone looks at, and it is the worst way to judge an account on its own. Plenty of accounts with 50,000 followers get a few hundred views a post, and plenty with 3,000 get tens of thousands. Selling an account is risky and against X's rules, so β€œworth” here means what your audience is worth: how many people see you, and how many care enough to answer.

The three things that make an account valuable

On top of those, the engagement rate (likes, replies, reposts, quotes and bookmarks divided by views) tells you whether people who see your posts do anything with them.

A simple formula

Account Worth uses made-up prices that are the same for everyone, so accounts can be compared:

The grade is the worth per follower: A+ from $8, A from $4, B from $1.50, C from $0.50, else D. That is why a small account people love can out-grade a huge quiet one.

A worked example

Say you have 5,000 followers, and your last 30 posts got 60,000 views over 10 days, from 200 different people who replied, with a 2% engagement rate.

The calculator also shows what the account could earn from sponsors: four sponsored posts a month at $20 per 1,000 average views, times the same engagement multiplier. Here that is 2,000 average views β†’ about $160 a month.
